Following her recent UKG-inspired offering 'SHADOW', Margate's BABii announces her sophomore album MiiRROR with an immersive new track. Exuding ethereal textures, 'BRUiiSE' craves human contact from an otherworldly place. Spaced-out synthesizers beckon a bass-heavy beat as BABii's recognisably lighter-than-air vocals soar subtly through the soundscape. Lyrically presenting tactile imagery as a way of processing past traumas BABii sings about “being scared about making the right choice and trying to figure out whether a feeling is true or if it's just an old hurt (or bruise) trying to trick you into repeating a pattern of self sabotage.” MiiRROR is due for release on the 21st May via Gloo. -Holly Mullineaux
